After tiring of the corporate culture surrounding work at a larger property management firm, Anthony (Tony) Schrock decided it was time to set out on his own. Tony’s objective was establishing a company that provided clientele with a highly qualified, motivated, hands-on support team within the field of property management. With his coworker, Debbie Adam, and nine clients agreeing to follow him into this new endeavor, Tony held the affirmation he needed to take the leap and open Property Pro in 1980. The firm is still thriving 43 years later.

Over its duration, Property Pro has successfully managed thousands of multifamily properties, commercial properties, and homeowner associations, condominiums. Today, Tony is joined by his son, Devin, and daughter, Phaedra, who grew up observing their dad’s business ventures and listening to real estate jargon. The firm embraces its identity as a family-run business and remains proudly rooted in providing personable service. Recently, Devin and Phaedra have expanded the firm’s services to real estate investment and property development. When not visiting sites or meeting vendors, the Property Pro team can be found at their base of operations in Los Gatos.

Anthony (Tony) Schrock – Founder, CEO & Broker

Tony enjoys channeling his competitive nature and decades of experience toward the challenge of taking run-down properties and increasing their profitability and curb appeal. Having ridden the economy’s ups and downs over so many years in the field, he can offer clients expertise in big picture thinking. He is delighted to be joined in the business by his son and daughter. When he’s not at the office, he likes to take long walks near his San Francisco home—exploring the city’s countless neighborhoods, events, and outdoor markets.

Devin Schrock – President of Acquisitions & Brokerage / Associate Broker

Devin grew familiar with the ins and outs of the real estate industry from a young age by watching his dad found and develop Property Pro. Today, he combines a fondness for problem solving with experience and knowledge in residential and commercial real estate property management, real estate sales, and leasing. Devin has managed some of the firm’s largest and most complex portfolios - delivering personalized reporting services to property owners and providing construction management for capital projects and tenant improvements while overseeing preventive maintenance and offering team leadership.  He is also responsible for all business activities, including oversight of new and renewal leasing as well as providing consulting and value analysis to clients in identifying new investment opportunities.  All the while directing the firm’s property management division in addition to his brokerage practice.  Currently, Devin lives in Los Gatos with his wife and two young sons. In his free time, he enjoys surfing in the summer, snowboarding in the winter, and traveling year-round.

Phaedra Schrock – President of Business Operations

By the age she could reach the copy machine, Phaedra began helping her dad around the office and learning the business. After graduation, she officially joined Property Pro, and began overseeing the day-to-day operations. This position allowed her to apply her skills in leadership, organization and keen attention to detail to find ways to streamline the processes of our growing company. Trained in communication and conflict resolution, she has proven to be a true asset by ensuring that our clients receive the quality of service they expect from a boutique property management firm. Building strong relationships with clients, owners, residents and vendors is her top priority. Regarding what she does as more than just a job, Phaedra takes pride in her work and values a job well done. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, gardening, hiking, kayaking, and going on adventures with her loyal sidekick/pet dog, Lily.

Deborah (Debbie) Adam – CFO & HR

Though Debbie is not related by blood to Tony, Phaedra, and Devin, she is, however,  an honorary part of their family.  After working alongside Tony at a large property management firm, Debbie decided to join him in his endeavor to open Property Pro. With over 35 years experience in property management and bookkeeping she’s still an integral part of the firm and continues to contribute her extensive experience as it relates to financial reporting, budgeting, and the daily operations of handling the bookkeeping for our valued clients.  Debbie also contributes a positive outlook and a dedication to helping people resolve their issues efficiently and quickly.  Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, bike riding, gardening, attending church activities, and spending time with her family.
